Rob Sato

Partner

Rob graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in philosophy. He obtained his law degree from the University of California, Davis, School of Law in 1994. In 1995, he came to Alaska with a plan to stay for a year and never left. He began his practice with Middleton & Timme, P.C., where he focused on complex litigation in both state and federal courts. In 2007, he left Middleton & Timme to form Sato & Sato with his wife, Jeannie. His litigation practice now includes divorce, custody, and other family law matters. He also takes great pleasure in serving as legal counsel to several Alaska Native tribes and village corporations. Rob is a member of the Alaska Native Law section and the Family Law section of the Alaska Bar Association. In his free time Rob likes to go on runs with his two dogs and spend time with his wife and kids.

Gayle Michaelson

Paralegal

Gayle Michaelson has worked in the legal field since 2000.  Gayle worked as an office manager and paralegal for two law firms specializing primarily in personal injury until early 2013.  She then switched gears and currently works for both Sato Law, LLC and Seaver & Wagner, LLC which focus on family and employment law.  She is currently serving her first term on Alaska Bar Discipline Committee. In her spare time Gayle enjoys camping and enjoying the outdoors with her family.
